A sunny, quiet one-bedroom apartment on the 4th floor in the heart of Funchal's hotel district, close to restaurants and bars. It sleeps 4, with a double bed in the bedroom and a double sofa bed in the lounge. Kitchen and bathroom fully renovated, plus a small laundry room. Parque de Santa Catarina, the Casino and the seafront are minutes away.

The apartment is spacious and has a main bedroom with a double bed, with lock and a double bed in the lounge area. There is a bathroom with a shower, and basin. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, stove, microwave and all utensils and crockery, there is also a laundry just off the kitchen with a washing machine. The kitchen and bathroom have recently been totally renovated. A 15 min walk takes you to the Lido pool complex. Here for about €10, 2 adults can spend a day at the poolside, with sea access (includes to deck chairs and umbrella) Perfect for a low cost holiday in Funchal.

The apartment is quiet and peaceful, sunny and light. We are on the fourth floor. There is a pub coffee shop downstairs for light meals. Basically you are close to everything here, within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and a few minutes walk to Parque Santa Catarina, which has a lake with some ducks and a couple of swans, where you can rest and read on the park benches or take a blanket and basket and have a pick nick on the grass. The park has a view over the harbour where you can sometimes view cruise liners arriving and departing. You are also within close walking distance to Casino Park Hotel where there are live entertaiment shows. Most people will walk to Funchal all the time as it is a lovely walk.

You will be within close walking distance to Funchal. Downstairs there is a popular bar, they make delicious pregos. Also there is a great bakery down on the main road, Confeitaria, good coffee with delicious cakes and bread. You can visit the park down the main road, Parque de Santa Catarina, where there is a view of the harbour and a pond with ducks. Very relaxing to sit on the park benches and enjoy the view of the harbour or watch the ducks and swans by the pond.

It is well located to busses, taxis and generally within walking distance of everything you need.
